About Me
I was born on Wednesday 28th of May nineteen eighty in sangilipalama hospital. My father I.U.G. Kiribanda and mother H. M Dalpitiya…That day was the 2524 sambuddha jayanthi day. Which mean that I was borne on vesak poya day. My mother said to me she heard radio news when I was on my way. She also said that no other baby was born that day in hospital.
We left our home when I was very young to go to away morape, we had to sacrifice our lands, relatives, & ever loving village & maha gedara to built kotmale tank. Not only had us there are thousand of people left their villages for that sake. & want to places like Anuradhapura etc..
I have first gone to school at GAMUNU MAHA VIDUHAL in maswela. After 5th year scholarship I went to HADUNUWEWA central collage. I don't remember much about my first school other than couple of friends.
When I was in Hadunuwawa hostel, I was home sick guy. I wanted to go home every week end. At school I was not god student, I was stubborn boy. I have always tried to be away from class room. And I always wanted to go to play with the friends. There for I was able to become a god sports men. Good cricketer my friends & teachers still say I that I was the best batsmen they have seen in nuwara eliya district. And member of the foot ball & table tennis teams as well. 1999 I was sat to G.C.E A/L. examination. But I couldn't go to university. I still regretting about that. If I made a real attempt to go their, I am sure I would be able to go their
My school day's ended in year 2000. With that, golden era of my life was ended. The day that I left my school was unforgettable. I still remember that day I was in tears. It was a wary painful moment for us. After leaving school I join the KOTHMALE COMMUNITY RADIO as a volunteer graphic designer and web designer… and now I am working with them as a Computer Graphic Designer, Web Designer, and computer instructor…
About My family
Father: my father, s name is I.U.G. Kiribanda. He was past away five month a go (25/12/2005). That was the saddest moment in my life. He was a businessman. My father was the 5th member of the family of nine.
Mother: she's name is H. M. Dalpitiya. And she is 57. Niyangandora is the birth place. My mother is house wife and she likes to grow flowers. And she is the 4th member of the family of nine.
